The Red Tree Lodge is proud to announce the Second Annual Art Contest in February 2010. We would like to invite you to join us by submitting your art work and attending our Gala night to showcase the art on Saturday, February 20th, 2010.

Our theme will remain connected with the Fernie Mountain Film Festival, showcasing local talent focused on bring awareness to Mountain Cultures, Fragile Environments, and the Passion and Perseverance of Global Explorers. The winner of the contest will be announced at the Fernie Mountain Film Festival on Saturday, February 27th, 2010.

If you are interested in participating this highly anticipated evening, submit up to 5 pieces of art that follow the following criteria:
Art must fall into one of three categories: Mountain Cultures, Fragile Environments, Passion and Perseverance of Global Explorers
Paintings or Photos must have black frames (if framed)
Different mediums of art that fall inside of the categories are welcome
Easels and Stands are Welcome
We appreciate large pieces of art
Minimum painting/photo size: 8.5’’ x 11’’
If you are interested in selling your art, please include the sale price with your submissions

Please contact Jenny Limoges at the Red Tree Lodge if you require more information or would like to participate in the Art Contest. All pieces must be submitted by 5:00pm February 5th.

All artists are urged to attend the Gala Night on Saturday February 20th from 6:30pm – 10pm and are welcome to invite family and friends to vote for their favorite pieces.
