A sneak peak at some of the films that will be screened at the upcoming Fernie Mountain Film Festival has just been released.

The lineup for Thursday's locals night is still being finalized as submissions continue to roll in. Remember if you have a submission you can submit it right up to the evening of the event on Thursday February 25th. If you don't submit your film you don't have a chance to win the $500 prize of best local film!

On Friday Night their will be TWO feature Films. Shining Spirit: the musical journey of Jamyang Yeshi and a segment from Birdman of Krakoram.

On Saturday night Nature Propelled, the latest film from the makers of Oil + Water who won the 2008 Best of Festival award here in Fernie. This will be its Canadian Premiere! Nature Propelled will be shown on Saturday Night with a special introduction from the filmmakers.

Other film content includes; fly fishing in Kashmir, Skiing in Greenland, Kayaking in Africa and the West Kootenay, Flathead Wild, Freestyle XC skiing, climbing up mountains and jumping off them, snowboarding without bindings and animated garbage in heaven. Just to name a few.
